I am excited to introduce a new section of my blog called "Breakfast at Tiffany's" I know you’re thinking that’s so vain, and un-original, before you judge me hear me out( lol). In case you haven't noticed that I have an (healthy) obsession with Audrey Hepburn, and Breakfast at Tiffany's is my one of my favorite classic movies. I could literally watch that movie every day. There I go again, I tend to get off topic, and before I know it I have no clue what I was originally talking about, I have self -diagnosed myself with Conversational ADD. Breakfast at Tiffany's is the title of an Audrey Hepburn, however the concept is my way of therapy and to connect with other people. I think blogs are kind of like therapy just less expensive. Let’s face it, Social Media is taking over many facets of our day to day lives.
The way that we work, interact with other people, and how we get our news is not the same as it us to be 10 years ago. We now have the ability to find out breaking news, literally minutes after it happens, and when you don’t know something literally in seconds a search engine can produce millions of answers. I have decided that Breakfast with Tiffany will be a way for me to be transparent with myself and others, to discuss relevant and controversial subjects, and to connect with different opinions and types of people that otherwise I may have never come in contact with. I think that seeing a situation through the eyes of someone who is the opposite of you provides a wealth of knowledge that otherwise would have no meaning to you. Breakfast with Tiffany will all who visit a support forum to ask me or other subscribers questions on trending topics. I will share with you tips, blogs, tutorials, lifestyle, hair care, and a host of other topics. Lastly, my main reason for this column is quite simple and close to my heart. We live in a world that sometimes kindness is rare, violence is normal, and competitiveness is a necessity. We live in a world where by any means necessary becomes the standard of normal. People are no longer living there surviving by any means necessary. Do people care anymore, does kindness exist, and are there really good Samaritans? So my hopes for this column is that opens people’s eyes up, makes you think before you react, to be kind, and compassionate when no one is watching or rewarding you. The Breakfast at Tiffany column will pull together and relate to all posts on my blog. I hope that you will ALL enjoy this blog. I look forward to hearing your feedback and comments.
